Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the educational background criteria to enroll at Open Door University (ODU). A high school diploma or Grade 11 completion is required. For those without official graduation, a written explanation and supporting evidence are necessary.
Educational Background
To be eligible for admission at Open Door University (ODU), applicants must have completed high school with a diploma or at least Grade 11. Alternative educational backgrounds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Applicants must demonstrate at least an intermediate level of English.

Except for students with English Level 5 (highest), all others are required to take the 2-year University English Preparatory Program.
Semesters

The academic year consists of three semesters.

Each semester runs for 12 weeks.

Students must register for a minimum of 12 credits (4 courses) per semester, and may take up to a maximum of 21 credits (7 courses).

Applicants must submit a personal motivation essay of at least 200 words as part of the admission application( Reason and purpose and plan of study and Vision or Dream of Life)

A one-time non-refundable admission processing fee of $30 is required with the application.
